Liverpool went into history after a 7-0 victory

The 7-0 victory over Crystal Palace helped Liverpool set a series of memorable records in English football history. According to Opta, the 7-0 result against Crystal Palace is the first time in Liverpool history to win a 7-goal gap against the opponent when playing away.

Coincidentally, Liverpool’s biggest win in English football history was against Crystal Palac himself. This is also the first time in Crystal Palace history to concede 7 goals at home.

This victory helped Jurgen Klopp win his 127th as Liverpool manager, surpassing Rafael Benitez’s achievement to become the coach with the most victories in The Kop history in the Champions League era.

Liverpool did not take too long to crush Crystal Palace, despite having to play away. Takumi Minamino opened The Kop’s victory with a goal in the second minute. By the end of the first half, the score was 3-0 for Liverpool after Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino both put their names on the scoreboard.

In the second half, Firmino, Henderson and Salah were the scorers for Liverpool to close the match 7-0. The goal in the 55th second helped Salah go into Liverpool history as the top scorer in the Champions League. He has 22 goals, 1 more than legendary Steven Gerrard.

The 55th second goal against Midtjylland was also Liverpool’s fastest strike in the history of the UEFA Champions League. Liverpool faced many difficulties in the final round of the Champions League group stage.

Champions League representatives lead early, but only drew 1-1. The Egyptian striker set a milestone in Liverpool’s draw in Midtjylland 1-1 in the Champions League group stage.

Host Midtjylland equalized at the beginning of the second half. In the remainder of the match, each team scored 1 more goal, but were not recognized by the VAR. In the match at the same time, Atalanta defeated Ajax to join Liverpool to win tickets.
